You can update your cart anytime before placing your order—whether you want to change item quantities or remove something. This guide walks you through how to do both before and during the checkout process.

Before checkout: How to edit your cart
Click the cart icon in the top-right corner of the screen to view your items.

To change quantities:
Type a new number in the quantity box.
Then click the word “Update” next to the pencil icon (not the pencil itself).
Your cart will refresh to show the updated quantity and subtotal.

During checkout: How to make changes
If you’re already on the checkout page, click “Edit Cart” or go to hayhouse.com/checkout/cart.
2. Use the + / – buttons or type in a new quantity and click Update Cart.
3. Your cart will refresh to show the updated items and totals.
To remove an item from your cart:
Click the trash bin icon 🗑️ next to the item you’d like to remove. Your cart will update automatically.
Important Notes:
Some items, like audio downloads, can only be purchased one at a time and don’t support quantity changes.
Changes made in your cart must be updated using the “Update” button or they won’t be saved.
