Thank you for your interest in publishing with Hay House. Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting. You may find other Publishing Information in our Help Center too.
Who Can Submit?
We do not accept unsolicited manuscripts or proposals. If you send an unsolicited manuscript or proposal outside of these channels, it will not be reviewed — and will be discarded. Submissions are only considered via:
A literary agent, or
A writer who is a current member of one of our Writer’s Membership programs, or
A writer who has participated in our Book Writer’s Bootcamp VIP program.
How to Submit (for Eligible Authors/Agents)?
If you qualify to submit (see above), Agents should prepare a proposal and sample chapters — either as a PDF or Word document and send to Editorial@HayHouse.com. Please note that we only review manuscripts written in English.
I attended a Writer’s Bootcamp as a VIP ticket holder; how do I submit my proposal for the contest?
If you attended the Writer’s Bootcamp as a VIP ticket holder, you can submit your book proposal using the instructions provided in your writing Manual, which includes the submission guidelines, formatting requirements, and the official deadline. Your proposal is due six months after the Bootcamp ends. All submissions are reviewed after your VIP eligibility is verified.
I am a current Member of the Hay House Writer's Community or Authorpreneur Memberships; how do I submit my proposal for the contest?
If you are a current member of one of the Writer’ Memberships, details regarding your submission will be inside your membership platform. You can also contact WritersWorkshop@HayHouse.com for more information. Your eligibility will be verified before your manuscript is considered.
