We love that our products inspire so many of you—and we’re honored when you want to share them with your communities!
If you’d like to post an image of a card from a Hay House card deck (online, in a blog, or on social media), here’s what you need to know:
Yes, You Can—With Proper Credit
You’re welcome to share a photo of a card or a few cards as long as the following guidelines are followed:
1. Always Give Credit
Make sure to include:
The author’s full name
The title of the card deck
A simple attribution like:
“Card from [Deck Title] by [Author], published by Hay House.”On Social tag author name
2. Use a Limited Number of Cards
Please only post one to three cards at a time. Sharing an entire deck or large portions of it (even over multiple posts) would violate copyright.
3. No Alterations
Please don’t crop, edit, or add text to the card images. Keep the original image and message intact to honor the artist’s and author’s work.
4. Include a Link (Optional but Appreciated!)
If possible, include a link to the product page on hayhouse.com so others can discover the deck.
Planning to Use Images in a Book, Product, or for Commercial Use?
If you’re looking to:
Publish a deck image in a book, workbook, or commercial product
Include deck imagery in course materials, merchandise, or promotional content
You’ll need to request written permission from Hay House’s Rights & Permissions team.
To begin that process, please visit our Rights & Permissions Request Form, choose "Rights & Permissions" from the dropdown, and share details like:
Deck title and author
Image(s) you'd like to use
How and where the image(s) will be used
Your publication or business information
We’ll review your request and respond with next steps.
A Few Final Notes
Sharing on social media for inspiration or personal growth is usually fine, as long as credit is given and the number of cards is limited.
For anything beyond that—especially if you’re creating something for sale or distribution—please reach out for permission.
