How to scan a QR code on a deck of cards with an iPhone
If you have a deck of cards with QR codes on the back, you can easily scan them using your iPhone's built-in camera app. There's no need to download a separate scanning app since iPhones have a direct QR code reader in the Control Center.
This feature has been available since iOS 12, so whether you have an iPhone 14 or an iPhone 11, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the Camera app or access the dedicated QR code reader from the Control Center by swiping up from the home page and selecting the QR code button (shown below, if you do not see it, go to your Settings > Control Center > add the Code Scanner).
Step 2: Hold your iPhone's camera over the QR code on the back of the card. If you're using the QR code scanner, make sure the QR code is inside the box on the screen. The link or information associated with the QR code will either open immediately (on the scanner) or appear at the top of your screen (in the camera). Just select it to go to the link in your browser or view the information.

If you have a deck of cards with QR codes on the back, you can easily scan them using your Android phone's camera app. Most modern Android phones support QR code scanning through the Camera app. However, some older models (Android 8 and older) may require an app like QR Code Reader to be downloaded before scanning.
Here are the steps to follow:
Step 1: Open the Camera app on your Android phone.
Step 2: Hold your phone's camera over the QR code on the back of the card.
There may be a slight pause as the phone works out the code.
Step 3: If successful, a link or information associated with the QR code should appear in a small pop-up window. Simply select it to go to the address or view the information.
Note: It's important to check if your Android phone supports QR code scanning as not all models have this feature. If your phone doesn't support it, you may need to download a scanning app like QR Code Reader.
